Greetings, we are pleased to announce the 2024 Doretha B. Richardson Shelter Award has been presented to a hardworking individual who is currently hospitalized from a diagnosis of a stroke. We presented a check to their landlord for $1,100 because of an additional donation from Lasting Care Outreach & Family Services Inc. for $100. We understand that life happens and we are here to help others maximize difficult situations. We are thankful to the community who participated in our Belk charity event and our Double Good popcorn fundraiser to make this happen. Please keep our client in your prayers as they continue to progress in recovery! Thank you for caring with us. We couldn’t do it without you! #DorethaBRichardson #ShelterAward
